At the time, Exotheos was conceived as an experiment rather than a polished cinematic statement. With no budget and limited tools, the focus was on learning by doing—testing narrative structure, visual metaphor, and end-to-end ownership of a creative project. The themes explored in the film reflect questions I continue to return to in later work, even as the mediums and methods have evolved.
